When Audio opened in 2004 it changed the face of Brighton’s music scene by creating a true ‘clubber’s club’ – a venue that was planned, designed and run with the needs of genuine music-lovers in mind. The formula was an instant hit, and Audio remains the city’s foremost quality venue today, from its stunning seafront terrace and bar to the stylish yet unpretentious club space below.

Hosting a wide range of cutting edge live and club music from across the board, Audio is home to legendary local institutions including SuperCharged (breaks and dubstep), Warehouse (house and techno), Battlejam ( Beardyman’s original residency) and a plethora of independent club nights and live shows, with everyone from Annie Mac to Andrew Weatherall to Skream to Norman Jay, High Contrast, James Zabiela, Kissy Sell Out and countless more regularly gracing the Audio stage. For a chance to hear the finest sounds around in an intimate, top-spec environment, it’s fair to say that Audio really is hard to beat.
